I'll need all advice and tips on traveling to and staying in Virginia Beach?
I'll be taking a 3 or 4 day trip to Virginia Beach with my best friend at the end of July. I need any and all information and experiences you know about Virginia Beach. Where to stay (we really want to be right on the beach and know we are poor college students so the most afforable is highly needed!) And also where to go for all the nightlife and restaurants. Maybe even some helpful hints on where and how to find afforable flights? I want this trip to be amazing so all information is appreciated! There are few catches on the coupons: 1) you have to have them in hand; 2) they're only good for walk-ins, so you run the risk of finding a "no vacancy" sign; 3) some coupons aren't good on holidays and weekends, or may have weekend surcharges (like an extra $10 per day). But if you're trying to save money and don't have to plan ahead, they can really help you save money on Virginia Beach lodging! About Are there any places to shower in Virginia Beach
Are there any places to shower in Virginia Beach?
I will be traveling to Virginia Beach next week, but only for the day and I would like to take a shower after coming off the beach. Does anyone know of any public or pay shower facilities in Virginia Beach or close by?

usually if you at the beach they have showers out side. most beaches do. i do that all the time but when i get in them i make sure i wear my sandels b/c idk whats comeing off these other people

I will be going to Virginia Beach in a few weeks and need help on the perfect outfit. I would like to wear jeans and opentoed sandals. What is approporate? I have never been there.

Where can I camp on the beach in/near Virginia Beach?
I'm coming to Virginia Beach this weekend for 1 night, and I'm looking for a place to camp on the beach. We are traveling in a Land Cruiser, and I'd love to back that right up to the water and sleep in the back. But if that's not a possibility, I'd at least like to pop the tent up on the beach itself. Most sites I see are only "close" to the beach. I'm looking for ON the beach.

Is VIRGINIA BEACH a good vacation spot to travel 10 hours for?
My family and I are planning to go to the beach this summer. We are really excited because its the first beach vacation for us in a long time! We have a preschooler and a 15 month old and want to go in June. I was wondering what was great about VIRGINA BEACH and what activities for lil kids besides the beach :) Btw are there SEASHELLS at VB coz I always imagine my kids picking up sea shells and saving them in a clear container for a forever reminder of our vacation! Thanks so much!!

hmm? it's ok.. I guess -- I didnt see really any sea shells -- I went this past summer -- my son found trash in the water -- it could be the area we were at -- the people were odd -- i went into the water and didnt realize the tide was coming in so it got my bag wet -- there were 5 people in front of my bag and they did nothing -- then when i saw the same thing happening to someone else -- it was beach chairs, though -- they acted like i was trying to steal something -- we were at the beach in front Catch 31 -- that area right there .. there were no sea shells--and the water was trashy. Try goolge maps and it will show you what it the area looks like.

The kids can enjoy whale watching. There are also horseback riding activities that you can do while the kids watch enjoy watching you. Of course you can enjoy swimming and playing in the cool waters of Virginia Beach
