Christmas driving between Virginia and Maine?
I am traveling from Virginia Beach to Maine for Thanksgiving. My travel days are flexible-anytime the week before Christmas. I was wondering when the best (least traffic congestion) would be. My main areas of concern are DC, New York and Connecticut. Thanks!

The Jersey turnpike and getting over the GW bridge will be the tough part of the journey, rt 91 to 84 to mass pike to 495 to rt 95n over the Maine state line to where ever you plan to go
